The history of the company began back in 1931, the year in which the young Gaetano Adelfio, who came from Palermo to Marzamemi, decided to settle in this small fishing village, populated by a small hospitable community and animated by a spirit of solidarity. The establishment was created in those years, when the fishing of Sicilian red tuna was still flourishing, which, fished through the slaughter, was then salted.

Along with tuna, sardines and anchovies were also fished and salted. Since then we still strive to keep the old flavors of the past alive, in the belief that there is an inseparable link between culture, history, taste, tradition and memory.
