In the countryside of Sicily (Syracuse), our country of origin, immersed in the green of uncontaminated land, stands the laboratory. In the rooms that have been for many years the family home of our family today we prepare the preserves. The heart is there where it once was: in the house where we spent all together parties and Sundays, around the big table and near the oven, today a beautiful team of women singing the unique products of the earth to turn them into preserves. The place has preserved the memory of what has been and breathes a unique atmosphere. Around the scents and noises typical of the countryside, like the sound of grazing cows.
The vegetables are all grown by local Sicilian farmers, chosen as our father did according to the criterion of proximity, but also taking into account the traceability, which over the years has become a guarantee of quality. Each product that arrives in the laboratory is selected by hand one by one with an attention and care that can not be replicated with any machine. The skilled hands that cook it are those of the women of the village, who have been working together for years with complicity and harmony. The recipes are those of tradition, reproduced with the same love and the same passion that each one puts when cooking at home.
