The Colomba Pasquale with Pistachio from Fiasconaro is the most famous among the many produced in Sicily, even today the preparation is done with a homemade recipe and using the best raw materials. To make the best Pistachio Dove, the Fiasconaro Pastry Shop uses Mother Yeast produced in its own laboratory and only after a slow and gradual leavening that takes no less than 36 hours, the Dove is ready to be baked and then covered with White Chocolate and Pistachio icing whole.
