The Sicilian pizzetta or also called catanese pizzetta is one of the most typical products of eastern Sicily. Like all other diner products together with the arancino it is one of the most consumed products in Sicilian street food. Although in appearance and name you are very similar to the classic pizza, in reality it has very different characteristics from the older sister. This product is in fact very soft and with a very thick paste, stuffed with tomato, mozzarella and oregano with the particular addition of black olives.
